It was that time of the year
again — time for the ThinkTV Auction to raise money to support
programming for Dayton's public television station. Eight Penn
State faithful were on-hand Wednesday evening, April 6, to take calls
and show their Penn State colors. Vic Folwarczny and Sandy
Wallace, Bob and Edie Kreider, Mark Dowd, John Glaser, Jeff Glaser, and Debbie Downes demonstrated
their highly efficient and friendly telephone technique as they
fielded calls from all over the Miami Valley.

As is the custom, everyone sits
through a brief training session before going into the studio to answer
calls. Here are Bob, Debbie, Edie, and Sandy in the Green Room
being prepped prior to their on-camera appearance. Why is Edie so
pensive?

Vic and Sandy are all smiles as
they rack up call after call. Word on-the-street is that Vic
perfected his powers of persuasion to the point of convincing all
"his" callers to up their bids by a factor of 25%.

Being down "on the
floor" is not a new experience for Mark, but we're not quite sure
what he's up to at this point. Perhaps psyching himself up for his
storied and soon to be reprised "fireman's" role . . .?

Here's a glimpse of
the sold out "D Board." We're willing to wager it was
Vic who got the final caller to up the bid on the Kroger $50 Gift Card
to $60!! (Almost a 25% factor)

Obviously our crew was on-camera
live and in person, as evidenced by this picture of a ThinkTV
videographer taking action footage.
