Many chapter members got their Christmas and Holiday Season off to a great start by attending the Chapter Holiday Party at Wright Patterson Air Force Base on December 3rd.  The Fireside Room was, as usual, beautifully decorated with a tree and other trimmings.
   .

Ron Siders and Don Tandy were early arrivals at the soiree.  And it didn't take them long to sample the tasty offerings from the Wright Pat bar.
                                  .

Janie Gehman, Sally Valeri, and Rae Siders catch up on their "ladies' talk."  We're not exactly sure just what point Sally is trying to make, but she sure is expressive.
                                                                      .

Chapter doyenne Marguerite Sharp and hubby Lou are happily ensconced near the crackling fire. They seem to be consuming an inordinate quantity of liquids — perhaps the better to stay cool.
   .

Chapter Prez Vic Folwarczny gazes adoringly at Sandy.  It wasn't all fun and games this evening for Vic though.  Again assuming the mantle of leadership, he conducted an exhaustive chapter business meeting prior to dinner.
                              .

Dave and Peggie Romanko and John Glaser interrupt their conversation long enough to pose for this photo op.  John, what's your point?
                               .

In this photo we wanted to focus on Ron Siders and his unique Santa hat.  The peak of his hat had the amazing ability to move from right to left and left to right.  All the guys wanted to know where they could get one too.
                               .

Rae Siders is bemused by the hat too, and tries to learn the secret of its intricacies.

This picture pretty much speaks for itself.  Our take is that Edie Kreider has such a thirst for wine that she needs to eyeball the remaining amount in her carafe.  Hubby Bob seems mildly amused.
               .

As happens every time we celebrate in the Fireside Room, Edie Kreider calls attention to wood grain "dog outlines" in the overhead beams.  Then mass hysteria strikes and everyone claims to see "the dogs."  But it was yet another happy note in an evening of friendship and congeniality.  Happy Holidays Penn Staters!
