It was Edie Kreider's idea!  She mused, "I wonder how many of our Dayton Chapter ladies would be interested in having brunch and seeing Steel Magnolias at LaComedia?"
And so she got on the phone and started making calls.  Long story short:  She rounded up 17 other women of our chapter and their friends for the short drive to Springboro on February 18, 2007.

Brunch is served!!  There is always an air of anticipation at LaComedia as everyone awaits the bill-of-fare roll-out.  And it was no less so this day as our ladies — already famished by not having their customary Sunday morning breakfast — ogled the culinary delights presented to satisfy their growing appetites.

Sonia Leach, Debbie Downes, and Kandi Tahmoush are all smiles as they await the announcement, "You may now make your way to the serving tables.  Please enter by the side aisles and return to your dinner table by the center aisles."

A relaxed and smiling Edie Kreider, garbed in an eye-catching, hot-orange top piece, is feeling good about the turnout and her expectations of a hearty brunch followed by an entertaining show.  Ann Gallas and Mary (a friend of Sally Valeri) have similar expectations.

Is everyone smiling just for the camera?  Or are they merely anticipating that brunch will be served momentarily?  No matter, because all these smiles helped immeasurably to brighten up the theater.  From left to right we have Karen, a friend of Edie Kreider; Trish Hannah; Mary, who is Sally Valeri's friend; and, of course, Sally.

And here are Judy and Jennifer, who were seated at the table with Edie, Ann, and Mary.  These two ladies are more of Sally's friends.  What's up with that?  Is Sally trying to win a popularity contest?
                       .

Haley and Karen are smiling brightly, but we suspect they, too, are anxiously awaiting the command to ". . . make your way to the serving tables."

More smiling faces!  Here we see (from left to right):  Linda, Trista, and Tricia.  It's quite evident all these ladies are having an enjoyable time.  The next time they go on a LaComedia outing your faithful web guru hopes to get an invitation too.  That way he'll be better able to tell the story — and maybe get a one-time good deal on breakfast and a show!
