National Service Week Project

Marguerite Sharp coordinated with Dayton-area Habitat for Humanity officials to line up a project for our annual support of Penn State's National Service Week.  And on Saturday, March 9th, 2002, Marguerite and her crew of five donned their painters' caps and coveralls to roll some paint.  They spent most of the day painting interior walls at  a Habitat for Humanity house under construction at 1315 Cornell Drive, in Dayton.   As you'll see in the photographs that follow, the gang really "got into" their work.  They proved to be firm adherents to the old painters' adage that says  "If you don't get some paint on your clothes you're not getting it on the surface."  Looks like our folks are experts, but you can judge for yourself . . .

painting experience shows up best on his jeans.

Bill Ashbaugh and Edie Kreider mix it up.  Are they working or just having fun?
