And a Happy New Year it was for all the Penn State revelers who came to the Fox and Hound to see their beloved Nittany Lions take on the Tennessee Volunteers in the 2007 Outback Bowl.  According to Edie Kreider's sign-in sheet, there were about 40 of us on hand to enjoy the game.  The crowd was a bit apprehensive what with the 17th-ranked Vols being a 7-point favorite.  But not to worry.  After a closely matched contest for the first three quarters the Lions went on to a 20-10 victory — and JoePa's 22nd postseason win!

Shades (Get it? Get it?) of the 2006 Orange Bowl game!  Edie Kreider and Janie Gehman model Penn State mementos the Gehman's received in Miami last year. And just as the blue-light glasses and lei were lucky charms in last year's win over Florida State, they came through again this year with the victory over Tennessee.

We don't remember exactly when during the game we snapped this picture, but Laura Rich and Debbie Downes are having a very animated conversation.  Perhaps it was just the enthusiasm and friendly ambiance of being with fellow Penn Staters and rooting for your Alma Mater.

The four images above obviously were not snapped during Tony Davis' electrifying fumble return for a 4th quarter TD. But these first half photos show enough pensiveness to convey that nothing is being taken for granted.
